Introducing the NEW

Certified Scrum Developer (CSD) program!

The CST program gives team members the agile engineering skills and Scrum fundamentals they need to create working software.

 
In order to achieve the CSD designation you need to:
  • Take and pass courses that satisfies the learning objectives as detailed in the curriculum below
  • Participate in a minimum of five training days
  • Take and pass a CSD assessment (offered at the end of the objective two course)
 
Objective One: Scrum Knowledge Track One: Earn a Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) designation. Public and private options available.
Track Two: Take a one-day introductory Scrum course. Braintrust’s Agile Project Management course satisfies this requirement.
 
Objective Two: Agile Engineering Practices Take a three-day technical course. The course will cover the following:

  • Architecture and design
  • Test driven development
  • Continuous integration
  • Collaboration (pair-programming, etc)
  • Refactoring
 
Objective Three: Technical Elective Course Choose a minimum of a one-day course that covers one or more of the following topics:

  • Customer test-driven development
  • Optimizing performance
  • Distributed development with Scrum
  • Agile database development
  • Incorporating user experience into Scrum
  • Design and test for operations
  • Addressing security in Agile development
