Why it’s Important to Take Virtual Advanced Classes During the Pandemic

Share

Now that the world has shifted to a mostly-remote environment, we’re finding more students interested in the deep dive that our advanced classes provide. And while the first half of 2020 was full of uncertainty, now’s a great time to get back on track to further your Agile journey and consider an advanced class

Learn how to better engage with your team remotely.

Advanced classes take a deep dive into specific skills and techniques, such as supporting a self-organizing team and exploring team dynamics. In this new VUCA world (Volatile, Uncertain, Complex & Ambiguous), being able to share and talk through real-life problems with a Braintrust Trainer and your peers is invaluable. You’ll learn how to effectively break through roadblocks that occur with working remotely, help resolve impediments more easily, and facilitate better online collaboration with team members.

Learn how to coach others.

Advanced classes offer hands-on training through tools such as Zoom and Mural to teach you how to coach your team members, peers, or organization. You’ll leave advanced training with a better understanding of coaching through active listening, powerful questions, reflection, and feedback. You will be able to take your expert knowledge of Scrum and help your organization on their Agile journey.

Further your leadership skills.

Maybe you’re looking to improve your leadership skills. This summer is a fantastic time to take our new Virtual Certified Agile Leadership, Essentials + Teams (CAL-E + CAL-T), which was formerly CAL I. Or, if you already have your CAL I certification, you can enroll in the new six-month Virtual Certified Agile Leadership II (CAL II) Certification Program. Watch my video to learn more about the changes in CAL!
